So my birthday passed on Wednesday
Ive decided to extent my birthday celebration till next week...because im awesome
So far ive eaten massive amounts of unhealthy food, gotten gifts that i asked for, and had my late night swimming at his pool.

And bug boy even gave me these pretty tulips =]

Aside from the fact that im being visited from Aunt Flow..im good

School started last week and im feeling good about it

My Ethics class doesnt seem to be that bad

I got tickets to see Tony Bennett on Sep 12 and another show of Wicked on Dec 12 before they leave in January.

I <3 Wicked.

Im highly excited for this year.

Wow, so I havent been on this thing for about a year or so.

I am happy to be on summer vacation.


An update on my life:
1) I accomplished by goal of getting straight A's..with NO dam minus signs for this semester.
2) Im extending my graduation to next year so i can take extra classes in Clinical Psych
3) Im starting my personal statement an CV this summer
4) Im going to be training in the NeuroPsych lab in electrode placement for EEGs. And i willlearn how to read brain wave patters. WOOT WOOT.
5) Im gonna be in training at the Valley Trauma Center this summer and get certified as a Rape Crisis Advocate


Now imma vegetate in my couch.

This week has been so much fun
On Saturday Jonathan and I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean with his sister
I LOVED the movie
A bit annoyed with the wedding scene BUT after a while it was ok
specially since I we were able to be together after midnight, on our anniversary

Sunday mother got a blood transfusion due her anemia and now she is feeling so much better, im sooo happy

Then monday, Jonathan and I started our anniversary celebration by going to have some nerdy fun at the Star Wars convention in LA.
it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN
we took a GAZILLION pictures, and I shall be posting them as soon as I get back my camera
I cant wait until it comes back to LA again...but this time imma be prepaired with a FABULOUS Jedi outfit...HELL YA!
After the convention we headed off to his old home town and visited some of his family.
Then we ate some yummy Troy burgers...mmmmmm...yummmmmyyyy
Later i had to take care of some school business with my teacher and turn in my application to be part of his research program next semester
Im hoping i get in!

Tuesday went early in the morning to go job hunting with jesca
but we ended up playing these fun little games online
We later went to watch Pirates...second time for me and better than ever!
i understood more about it and jesca and I had a meaningful conversation of the Pirate way..muahahaha
Jesca later had a scratch lens emergency and we raced off to LensCrafters
Apparently people pay more to have a scratch resistant lens to only find out that the lens gets scratches easier than before!
*sigh*

Today, saw Jonathan this morning..^_^
then I went off to find graduation dress for me to wear at both Jonathan's and my sisters graduatiom
no luck there
BUT i did find a cute top to wear one day
Now I am currently playing this cool game called Switcheroo on a gam site Jesca got me into
Jesca...we gotta practice till we can beat those guys!

Im happy to be relaxing
Happy school is over
Got all my grades today
got three A's and one A- *sigh*
im happy with my grades..but a bit annoyed that the minus totally ruined the hopes for a perfect GPA this semester
well..NEXT SEMESTER i shall try again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lately ive been having a blast
I love school, but i need to catch up on my reading for English

Been studying alot with the crazy Jesca
I read half of her Zombie book..OMG GENIOUS
I learned and retained more info from that book that my text book =)

She even recorded some of our conversation....lol

Spring Break was nice

So I had an amusing time today
Spent the day with jesca
We watched the movie 300..(second time for me! =])
I LOVE THAT MOVIE
soooooooooooo many aspects of it...one being the Spartans..^_^
And i love anything related to Greece and Rome.
Then we went to eat some Italian food...mmmm
After having an interesting convo about the many ways one can die... we headed back to Jesca's where I showed her some very amusing 300 videos...ohh ohh ohh

Jesca also showed me some endings of KH1 and 2
And i must say ...im interested in the story!
OHHH not to mention me and jesca got super happy for buying some medical help books...she got nursing..i got psych!
We are SUPER NERDS...hahahahaha

And the four of us (Gerry,Sherwin,and Jesca) went to have some Coldstones at night
That trip was fun
It was good to just eat yummy icecream while sitting outside around a table

I feel so accomplished its insane
I finally went to talk to my Psych teacher, Dr Sergi
I talked to him about grad school and he told me that I needed 4 things:
1) A good GPA
2) A high score on the GRE's
3) Clinical experience
4) Reasearch experience

I have a high GPA of 3.7 something, so i just need to maintain it and try to raise it up. I HATE those (-) negative signs..in like A- GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH i couldnt believe that those bitches actually lower your GPA...>_<

I am currently studying for my GRE's..both of them. One is the general on, that looks like a harder version of the SAT's. The other one is a specific subject GRE, that for me, would be Psychology, as my major. For that one I would have a huge exam in which I would have to know almost everything of psych..from all the fields. Imma start studying that in a bit.

For the Clinicals, I am planning on volunteering at a hosital, most likely Northrigde Medical Center and work at their Mental Health facilities. I at least need 100 hrs..but im sure ill be doing more than that.

And finally for the research part,my teacher, Dr. Sergi, has several research projects at CSUN, which he has invited me to join him. I was so excited. I just need to talk to him before the se,ester is over and he'd give me the info. Lets see how that works out! ^_^

Ohhh and I also went to the counciler, and asked him to map out my class schedual and see when I would be graduating. So we ended up with my graduation date as Spring of 2009. It may seem like a long time, but in those 2 years, I am going to be building up my resume and grad school application with experience in Clinical, Research,getting three letters of recommendation from teachers and by taking extra Upper division Psychology classes. I AM SO EXCITED. *sigh*

Not to mention that Jonathan has been such a supportive b/f. He's a wonderful inspiration to me. He has been the one that has been telling me that in time, everything will just fall into place, and my career will seem brighter than ever. This is the time. I am so excited that I put everything in order and I have a plan. It such a weight off my shoulders. NOt to mention that Jonathan is already on his way of getting his dream job. He has an internship for the Summer, and after that,the sky is the limit! He is so determined to go for what he wants, his career. Im proud of you hun. ^_^
